Grade 4 Heading Up to Maxville
For the first time in its current incarnation, the Grade 4 Band will dip its toes into some Canadian competition on the weekend of August 2. We shall see what we shall see.
Grade 4 Places 2nd out of Ten Bands at Glasgowlands
The Stuarts continue to improve as the season progresses, coming in with a very respectable 2nd place finish in a field of ten bands. The drummers came up with a first place finish, and the ensemble performance was given a 2nd. Consistently high scores across the board.
Band places 3rd out of Six at Round Hill
The Stuart Highland band shook off some nerves and delivered a strong Quick March Medley at the Round Hill Games in Connecticut. The Band, garnering a 3rd place finish, was very pleased with the outing against some strong bands from New York. Confidence growing, the Band should continue to improve throughout the season.
Grade 4 wins at NH Indoor Games
The Grade 4 Band under its new pipe major, Matt Phelps, swept the judging at the New Hampsire Indoor Games in Concord this weekend. Against a field of four other bands, the Stuarts took first place from all judges.
